SCT Services grew out of Steve Crawford’s lifelong involvement in the trucking industry and a desire to build something consistent, reliable, and meaningful. Steve began working full-time in trucking in 1970 while still in high school, helping support his family’s business. In 1991, he founded his own contracted transportation company, starting with just three trucks. Over time, through steady leadership and a people-first mindset, that business grew to a fleet of 51 trucks.

From the beginning, SCT Services was created to solve a deeper problem than moving freight. Steve saw an industry driven by pressure, unpredictability, and short-term thinking—and he believed there was a better way. He wanted to build a company rooted in integrity, stable leadership, and long-term relationships, where both performance and people mattered.

As the business matured, Steve began to recognize something important: success alone doesn’t guarantee fulfillment. Even when goals are met, many leaders still feel stuck or unsettled. That realization led to the creation of Q4F (Quest for Freedom) and the message of discovering contentment. What started as trucking work naturally expanded into a broader mission—helping people move forward not just professionally, but personally, with clarity and purpose.
