Getting Out of the Mud

Steve shares a personal story about a time he was struggling financially and a friend stepped in to help him out of the mud. But that friend also offered a powerful reminder: someone can pull you out of the mud but it is your job to not jump back in.

It’s a message about humility, responsibility, and growth. It’s important to help others when they’re stuck. It’s also important to allow yourself to receive help. And once you’ve been given a second chance, it’s just as important to steward it well.
